Survey system

There are a lot of possibilities, to compose a "Survey system". The required accuracy and with that the price for the system is qualifying the system, but also the requested detailed position information of several instruments on-board. Is either only the horizontal position of the vessel enough or additionally also the depth of the suction head.

The software application package consists of modules for visualisation on board the dredger, for calculation and plotting at the office and for gathering hydrografic data.

Dredger positioning system

The Excavator/dredger positioning system, combined with software and the required sensors, provides the operator with the position and depth of the bucket/dredge head relative to the actual and required depth. The data is displayed on a monitor in the operator cabin.

MAVI DENIZ is pleased to announce that is now offers sub-meter accurate, dredging global positioning systems (DGPS) for all MAVI DENIZ Dredge systems. The DGPS system allows the operator to track where dredging has been performed and where dredging needs to be performed. This eliminates all of the guess work and increases productivity by eliminating overlapping in cuts and the need to measure bottom depths with probes.

The Dredger’s cabin is extremely comfortable and comes standard with climate control, joystick controls, digital pressure gauges, digital depth gauge, cutterhead/pump view window, dual doors, and a push button start.

The self-propulsion system held exclusively by MAVI DENIZ allows the dredge to maneuver effortlessly in lakes, canals, marinas, rivers, and ponds.

By integrating a DGPS system on the Dredge the operator has complete 360-degree unrestricted maneuverability and the ability to track its cuts using state-of-the-art dredge positioning software. Once again MAVI DENIZ is thinking ahead of the competition and providing the most user-friendly piece of equipment without compromising performance.
