OCTOPUS WEIR SKIMMER
The Octopus skimmer is a high performance weir skimmer for coastal, inland and offshore oil spills. Octopus self-adjusting weir skimmer represents a significant step forward in weir skimmer design.
The skimmer is hydraulically driven from a power pack mounted on the same skid. The skimmer handles all types of oil from light diesel to heavy crude oil mixed with debris. Recovered oil is discharged from the skimmer to the tank. The knuckle boom crane is used to deploy and retrieve the skimmer.
